It is my honor to present my novel, “A Journey From Black Gold to White Gold: Oil to Lithium,” to Shri Anil Prakash Joshi Ji, a Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awardee, for his unparalleled contributions to preserving India’s environment and green ecosystem. During our meeting, I had the privilege of learning about his groundbreaking initiative—the Gross Environmental Product (GEP)—which has been embraced by the Uttarakhand Government.

His visionary ideas on integrating sustainability with technological advancements represent a harmonious blend of progress and nature conservation. We discussed scaling up many of his transformative ideas on a larger platform to ensure the natural beauty of Uttarakhand is preserved for generations to come.
